Amyn is often described as a creative thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills. He started his career as an actuary, developing long-term investment strategies and completing actuarial valuations for large pension plans. In all of these roles, Amyn concentrated on financial modeling and analysis to determine inherent risks as well as support pension fund administrators in their decision making process. After few years into consulting, he completed an MBA at HEC Montreal to transition his career into project investment for private companies.
His first role came as a business development analyst at Cirque du Soleil, where he contributed in establishing the brand and shows in international markets, as well as developing new entertainment formats part of a global diversification strategy. His continuous desire to learn and progress brought him to Lune Rouge, where he is able to use his experience in the entertainment industry and support the development of the investment initiatives of the group. As Business Development and Strategy director, he is involved in deals for the various divisions, from Entertainment to Real estate. His interest in the latter and love for teaching brought him to a role of part time lecturer in Real estate valuation at HEC Montreal in 2019.
